Community Center

The Community Center is a carpeted, open, multi-function room (52’ x 29’) with a fireplace, rest room, half-kitchen and warming ovens. Folding tables and chairs accommodate up to 80 for meals, 100 for meetings or concerts, or 60 for conferences, workshops, retreats or business seminars using tables. In its open setting the room is used for art shows, hobby and professional displays, and instructional and exercise activities.
The 39’ x 16’ covered porch provides an additional 32 dinner seatings or is an ideal area for serving drinks and appetizers, casual conversation, and enjoying the mountain scenery or sunset. A ping pong table is available for porch use too.
A recent addition is an expansive, attached 40’ x 70’ patio, perfect for large open air or tented events such as family reunions or weddings.
Deb Sammons, Pendaries chef, can provide any type food and beverage catering service you might need: snacks, pastries, buffets to formal wedding dinners.

Pendaries’ rustic chapel, built in 1972 with donations of time, materials, and money from residents and builders, seats 50 and is available for small weddings, memorials or can be used in conjunction with family gatherings.
